Marsha Kaufman Rubinstein, Handcrafted Porcelian

Marsha Kaufman-Rubinstein has been a studio potter for over 40 years, creating both functional and sculptural porcelain. She attended Alfred University and graduated with a BFA from Hunter College CUNY.

She has participated in many fine art and crafts festivals including The Woodstock – New Paltz Art and Crafts Fairs – www.quailhollow.com – located in New Paltz NY. She is also a co-director and co-founder of this craft event.

She teaches adult and children’s classes in her studio in Saugerties NY. Her work may be found in several private collections.

Marsha also takes part in the Saugerties Artist’s Studio Tour – www.saugertiesarttour.com now in their 11th year.

About the Porcelain

The porcelain is handcrafted using traditional throwing techniques. The work is high fired to a temperature of approximately 2200 degrees.  The wheel thrown hand painted and etched porcelain is inspired by nature with colorful landscapes and floral themes.

Included are; lamps, casseroles, teapots, dinnerware items and bowls of various sizes.
Custom orders are welcomed.

All of the work is lead free, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
